Photographer: Caitlin Carrigan

Caitlin Carrigan is a Boston/Lowell area photographer who enjoys talking about herself in the third person. Now, seriously, I'm addicted to the lens and have been since I was a small child. I've come to the conclusion that there is an angle at which even a garbage heap will look good or at least interesting. I have adopted the pursuit of that illusive angle as one of my (many) life's works.

My work focused on Landscape/Nature when I went pro, but I decided to go pro in the portrait world after being the sad patron of a terrible Headshot Session. From there I began working in editorial photography, exploring the artistic spectrum by asking gorgeous people to get dolled up in evening gowns then stand next to scrap metal. It makes sense in my head, at least.

My portraits are meant to bring the person into the room with you and I love what I do. I'm told you can tell when you're on the far end of my lens.
